How to use

- 02Drag over the areas to cover. [Find automatically] looks for phone numbers, emails, account numbers and words you type, marks them as candidates, and you tap to cover them.
- 03[Download] the redacted image.
If it does not work
Rectangle not drawing?
- Start on the image and drag until you lift your finger or the mouse button. A very short drag does not draw.
- To cover small text, zoom the page in and try again.
- If it still fails, add the file again with [Another image].
FAQ
Why is there no blur or mosaic?
Blur and mosaic can sometimes be reversed to recover the original. This tool fully covers the area with a solid color so none of the covered pixels remain in the result.
I drew in the wrong place.
[Undo] removes the last rectangle, and [Clear all] starts over. The original file is not changed.
Does the quality or size change?
It is saved at the original resolution. Screenshots (PNG) come out as PNG and photos (JPG) as JPG. Only very large photos are reduced slightly to fit browser limits, and you are told beforehand.
Can it find names and numbers automatically?
Press [Find automatically] and text is read in your browser to mark phone numbers, emails, account numbers, Korean resident numbers and card numbers as candidates. For things without a fixed format, such as names, type them under "Words to cover" and their positions are found. Candidates are covered only when you tap them. The engine and Korean/English models (about 5MB) are downloaded once; number formats follow Korean conventions.
About this tool
A tool that covers the areas you drag over in a screenshot or photo with a solid color and downloads a new image. It is not a blur or mosaic: the area is fully covered, so the original content is not present in the result. The image is not sent to a server or stored.
