How to use

- 02Read the summary at the top and turn off any rule you do not want under Options. Turn on "Show changes" to see where lines were joined.

FAQ
Why are lines joined? Why do sentence ends stay?
Copying from a PDF brings along line breaks that only existed to fit the page width. By default, only breaks in the middle of a sentence are joined; lines ending with a period or question mark, and paragraphs separated by a blank line, are left alone.
What about lists and numbered lines?
Lines starting with markers like "-", "1." or "a." are not joined. For poems or addresses with many short lines, set line joining to "Off".
How are characters counted?
Based on the cleaned text, it shows the total count and the count without spaces and line breaks. Useful for checking a length limit.
I want to undo it.
The original in the input is not changed. Turning a rule off under Options restores the result immediately, and "Show changes" marks where lines were joined.
